Several funding opportunities are available to graduate students in the form of grants, scholarships, and fellowships. Although this page is certainly not a complete list of sources, it's a good place to start. GraSUS Fellowships
GraSUS-II is a GK-12 project funded by the National Science Foundation. GK-12 (Graduate Teaching Fellows in K-12 Education) programs provide support and funding to graduate students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines. NSF GK-12 programs provide opportunities for graduate students to gain expertise communicating science and research to a broad range of audiences.

SMART Scholarship-for-Service Program:
A civilian research scholarship-for-service program offered by the Department of Defense that provides full tuition (no cap), annual cash award between $25,000 and $41,000, book allowance, health insurance, internships for multi-year participants and post-graduation employment.
