Incentives Offered to NSF Graduate Research Fellows

Congratulations on being awarded a new NSF Graduate Research Fellowship!  This is one of the most prestigious national awards for conducting graduate research in the US.

North Dakota State University offers a number of incentives to NSF Graduate Research Fellows for choosing it as your affiliate graduate institution.  Graduate Research Fellows receive full tuition and fee support.  You also will be provided with full health insurance benefits (dependent coverage not included, but available on a self-pay basis) as well as access to worker’s compensation and travel insurance.   In addition, a portion of your annual education allowance will be reserved for your research expenses.  You will find these incentives to be quite comprehensive and highly competitive.

This incentive package coupled with NDSU’s prominence as a student-centered, land grant research university, make it a great place to embark on your graduate education.
