D.B. AND EDITH ALLEN

Two scholarships of $410 will be awarded to sophomore, junior or senior students with a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher, exhibiting leadership qualities, showing professional promise, character and providing service to the community. Financial need will be considered when other qualifications are equal. One award will go to a student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education majoring in an area of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. One award will go to a student majoring in Dietetics. Recipients must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


ALBA BALES SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $390 will be awarded to an active member of Phi Upsilon Omicron-Beta Chapter who demonstrates leadership potential. Recipient must be enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education and taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement.  Recipient must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


DR. JOSEPHINE BARTOW RUUD SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $2500 will be awarded to a student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education and majoring in one of the following: Apparel, Retailing Merchandising and Design; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics/Nutrition; Interior Design; Hospitality and Tourism Management; or Family and Consumer Science education. The recipient must have demonstrated financial need, be a full-time student with a minimum CGPA of 2.75. Recipients are eligible to reapply annually.  First preference will be given o a single parent, undergraduate or graduate level. If there is not an eligible application who meets the first preference, the second preference would be the non-traditional/older student who has a child raised in a single parent family.

 


GRACE E. BAYLISS GOLD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Three scholarships of $1000 will be awarded to outstanding students with financial need. One of the scholarships will be awarded to a current freshman to be received in their sophomore year, one to a sophomore to be received in their junior year, one to a junior to be received in their senior year. The students must be enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education in an area of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


DEAN CHARLOTTE BENNETT MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $1000 will be awarded to a junior or senior to provide financial support. The student must be enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education majoring in an area of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Preference is also based on active involvement in the leadership of the student member section of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences, and other campus and community organizations. Applicant must have and must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or greater. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


MARION C. BENSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $115 will be awarded to student in the College of Human Development and Education majoring in Family and Consumer Sciences Education who has shown academic excellence, professional promise, and financial need. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


BOARD OF VISITORS SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $1250 will be awarded to a sophomore, junior, or senior student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education and majoring in an area of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Education; or Health, Nutrition and Exercise Sciences. The recipient must exhibit financial need, be active in student organizations, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Board members will interview the final applicants to determine the recipient. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


JESSAMINE S. BURGUM MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Two scholarships of $475 will be awarded to freshmen or sophomore students enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education majoring in an area of Apparel, Design and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Selection is also based on academic aptitude, character, and vocational promise. Financial need will be considered but is not a limiting factor. Recipients must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


KATHERINE BURGUM OUTSTANDING STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $560 will be awarded to an undergraduate student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education majoring in an area of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Selection is based on outstanding contributions to the college through service to professional and college organizations. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


CORA CORWIN AND CHARLES AND BETTY CORWIN SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $670 will be awarded to a student fully admitted to the teacher education program in the College of Human Development and Education. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher, financial need, and be an active member of a professional education association. The funds will be disbursed in the term in which the student is student teaching. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


ERNEST L. DEALTON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $690 will be awarded from funds provided by Ernest L. DeAlton, Newberg, Oregon, to an outstanding student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education who is qualifying for and plans to teach agricultural education in North Dakota. The recipient must be a North Dakota resident, taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


LENORA M. DEALTON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $605 will be awarded from funds provided by Ernest L. DeAlton, Newberg, Oregon, to an outstanding student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education who was active in FFA in high school, qualifying for and plans to teach agricultural education in North Dakota. The recipient must be a North Dakota resident, taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


FARGO-MOORHEAD AREA HOME ECONOMISTS AWARD

One award of $200 will be awarded by the Fargo-Moorhead Area Home Economists to a student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education majoring in an area of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Selection criteria: a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher, financial need and demonstrate leadership qualities. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


CHRISTINE FINLAYSON MEMORIAL UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

Two  scholarships of $655 will be awarded to a student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education majoring in Family and Consumer Sciences Education with academic excellence and professional promise. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


HACH SCIENTIFIC FOUNDATION CHEMISTRY TEACHER SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $6,000 will be awarded to an undergraduate student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education majoring in Chemistry who is committed to becoming a high school chemistry teacher. The recipient must have a cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher and must sign a yearly agreement committing to become a chemistry teacher to receive the scholarship. Recipient must be a citizen of the United States/permanent resident and be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits. Financial need will be considered but shall not be the determining factor in the selection. Selection shall be made without regard to gender, color, race, creed or national origin. The scholarship shall be renewable if requirements are met but not to exceed $36,000.  The recipient must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


AGNES M. HANSEN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Two scholarships of $660 will be awarded to students enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education who will be a junior or senior in Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. The students must have a cumulative 2.5 GPA or higher. Preference given to applicants who demonstrated both financial need and a history of community service and student leadership. Recipients must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


VIRGINIA L. HASSOUN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $500 will be awarded to a woman enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education in an area of: Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. The primary intent of this scholarship is to help and encourage international women students from developing countries. The recipient must be a full time student taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement who has a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or greater and financial need. Preference will be given to an international student from a developing country. If such a student does not qualify in a given year, the scholarship will be awarded to a North Dakota resident, meeting the above criteria.  Recipient must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


BETH E. AND RODNEY C. HASTINGS SCHOLARSHIP

Two scholarships of $1035 will be awarded to a student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education who is majoring in Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; Family and Consumer Sciences Education or Agricultural Education at North Dakota State University. Applicant must maintain high academic standards and exhibit the need for financial assistance. Applicant must be a full-time student with a minimum of 12 graded credits at the time of application and during the time of disbursement of the award. Recipient must attend the Honor's Day celebration.

 


HUMAN DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OUTSTANDING STUDENT AWARD

One scholarship of $1500 will be awarded to an outstanding student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education, majoring in an area of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Education or Health, Nutrition, and Exercise Sciences. The student must be a member of a university student organization that is related to their major and possess junior or senior standing. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


DR. JOHN M. JENKINS SCHOLARSHIP FUND

One scholarship of $350 will be awarded to a student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education, majoring in Education with priority given to a student majoring in Math Education. Financial need will be considered.  Student must have strong leadership skills and demonstrate great potential as a future leader in his/her professional career and taking a minimum of 12 graded credits.  Recipient must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


VIRGINIA CLARK JOHNSON AND RICK JOHNSON SCHOLARSHIP

One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to recognize demonstrated leadership in North Dakota State University and/or community activities and to encourage students to begin their study in Secondary Education. Preference will be given to the following teaching specialties: History, Social Studies, Family and Consumer Sciences, and Physical Education. Candidate must be a junior or senior accepted into Teacher Education at NDSU, enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education and have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


VIOLA LARSEN JORDHEIM MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $1000 will be awarded to a senior or graduate student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education for continued study in Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences at NDSU.  The award is baded on academic performance, leadership, character, and potential for professional promise in the field of Human Development and Education. At the time of disbursement, recipient must be a senior with a minimum of 12 graded credits or a full-time graduate student.  Recipient must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


ERV AND MARGARET KAISER FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $1000 will be awarded to a student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education in Physical Education or Sport Management. This award from E.E. Kaiser is in recognition of outstanding service to their profession. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA average of 3.0 or better. Selection is also based on membership in physical education association(s) and/or comparable activities. Recipients must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at the time of disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration. 


MARY E. LAYCOCK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP/BEULAH KIBBEL MEMORIAL AWARD

MAIL IN APPLICATION ONLY:  One scholarship of $285 will be awarded by the North Dakota Association for Family and Community Education (NDFCE) to a junior for use during the senior year. The student must be enrolled in an area of Apparel, Design and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education at NDSU. The Beulah Kibbel Memorial Award has contributed $35 to the $285 scholarship. Use the Laycock/Kibbel Memorial Scholarship application form. DR. EVELYN MORROW LEBEDEFF MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Seven scholarships of $1985 will be awarded to students enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education majoring in an area of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Selection criteria: Students who have demonstrated scholarly achievement, personal integrity and have financial need. Preference is given (in descending order) to Cass County residents not living in Fargo, then Fargo residents, then international students. Recipients must be taken a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


MAJORE LOVERING MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP/NORTH DAKOTA ASSOCIATION OF FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIP

Two scholarships of $755 will be awarded to students enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education majoring in an area of Apparel, Design and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education at NDSU. Selection criteria; Demonstrated leadership potential, academic performance and achievement. Preference will be given to students who are members of AAFCS. Recipients must a junior or senior taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


LUNDSTROM FAMILY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $500 will be awarded to a student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education and majoring in one of the following areas at the time of application and disbursement: Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; Family and Consumer Sciences Education. The student must be a sophomore, junior or senior at the time of disbursement. Preference will be given to a North Dakota native or resident with a CGPA of 3.0 or greater.


MEL AND SHARYL MAIER SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $850 will be awarded to a student in the College of Human Development and Education, majoring in Agricultural Education or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Selection criteria: must be current or past participant in a 4-H or FFA program and have financial need. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits and enrolled in the Ag Education or Family and Consumer Sciences Education Program of the School of Education at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration. 


MARSHALL COUNTY HOMEMAKERS SCHOLARSHIP

MAIL IN APPLICATION ONLY:  One scholarship of $200 will be awarded to a sophomore or junior majoring in an area of Apparel, Design and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. The student must be a Marshall County, Minnesota, resident. Prior winners of the Marshall County Scholarship are not eligible to reapply. Use the Marshall County Homemakers Scholarship form. ELSIE STARK MARTIN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS

Seven scholarships of $855 will be awarded to students enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education majoring in an area of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Selection is based on the demonstration of professional promise, leadership qualities and financial need. Recipients must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


LEON AND NETTIE MASON FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $560 is awarded to a student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education who has a minimum GPA of 3.0 and is majoring in the areas of Apparel, Retail Merchandising and Design or Dietetics. Recipient must be a junior or senior, taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


ELLA HANSEN MCCOY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

One $770 scholarship shall be awarded to a student who is admitted into the School of Education in the College of Human Development and Education. This scholarship shall be given to students who are not recipients of other academically-based scholarships, and may not otherwise be able to attend NDSU due to a lack of financial support. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


 

MIDWEST DAIRY COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $1000 will be awarded to a junior, non-graduating senior, or graduate student at time of application and will attend NDSU during the 2015-2016 school year. The recipient must be enrolled at North Dakota State University through the College of Human Development and education. Selection is based upon academic accomplishment, leadership potential and commitment to health and wellness. Applicants seeking a degree via the Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance (GPIDEA) program must reside in the Midwest Dairy Council region which includes North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Illinois. 

 


JOANN MONSON SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT

One scholarship of $500 shall be awarded to a student who is enrolled at NDSU at the time of application and disbursement, majoring in an area of teacher education. Recipients must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on the 4.0 scale and demonstrate need of financial assistance. Preference will be given to a graduate of Moorhead High School, Moorhead, MN. If there are no applicants from Moorhead, then a high school graduate from Clay County in Minnesota.


NORTH DAKOTA 4-H FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

MAIL IN APPLICATION ONLY:  Nine scholarship opportunities are available to present and former North Dakota 4-H members through the 4-H Foundation. For consideration, complete the scholarship application found at http://www.ndsu.edu/4h/foundation/scholarships/     Deadline for application is March 1.


NORTH DAKOTA PARENT AND TEACHERS ASSOCIATION (PTA) SCHOLARSHIP

(MAIL IN APPLICATION ONLY): The ND Congress of Parents and Teachers sponsors the ND PTA Scholarship. Applicants must be in their sophomore or junior years. This is a $500 scholarship per 12-month period. The applicant must be a resident of North Dakota preparing to teach at the primary or secondary level. Applicants must write a response to the question: "What is your goal as a teacher and how do you assess your ability to achieve that goal?" NORTH DAKOTA FFA FOUNDATION

(MAIL IN APPLICATION ONLY): Students enrolled in Agricultural Education at the collegiate level in the state of North Dakota with the intent of teaching in the state. NORTH DAKOTA NUTRITION COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP

(MAIL IN APPLICATION ONLY): One $500 scholarship will be awarded to a student from NDSU or UND who majors in a nutrition-related field. The scholarship recipient will also receive free registration to the NDNC spring conference. Students who will be sophomore, junior or non-graduating senior majoring in (Dietetics, Community Nutrition, Family and Consumer Sciences Education, etc.) Be a member of North Dakota Nutrition Council, and have a GPA greater that 3.0. MARGO PAULSEN CHAPTER AH P.E.O. MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $700 will be awarded to a student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education majoring in an area of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Selection criteria: A cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher and a junior or senior at the time of disbursement. Preference given to applicants who show potential promise in chosen field. Recipient must be taken a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


JEANNINE KNOTE PETERSON AND EARL B. PETERSON FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $700 will be awarded to a student in the College of Human Development and Education, majoring in Family and Consumer Science Education. The recipient must be admitted to the School of Education and be a junior or senior at the time of disbursement. The recipient must demonstrate leadership by involvement in campus volunteer activities and financial need as defined by the Office of Student Financial Services. Preference will be given to a student who graduated form a a North Dakota high school of 500 or less.


JOHN T. SCHNEIDER PEACE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $225 will be awarded to a junior or senior in the College of Human Development and Education with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference for selection will be given to candidates who meet one or more of the following: A career interest of serving in the U.S Peace Corps after graduation; a contributor to or staff of the Spectrum; Student Senator; an employed part-time worker with with a full-time academic schedule; a current or past member of the NDSU Student Organization - Young Democrats.  Recipient must be taken a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


ARTHUR SCHULZ SCHOLARSHIP

(MAIL IN APPLICATION ONLY): One scholarship of $200 will be awarded to a North Dakota Family and Community Education member interested in improving their employability through additional education. HARRY AND LILLIE SEIDEL HUMAN DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

Four scholarships of $2000 will be awarded to a student in the College of Human Development and Education who is majoring in an area of Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Applicant must be a North Dakota native and resident; a sophomore, junior or senior; and have a cumulative GPA between 2.75 and 3.25. Financial need shall be a key criterion of the award particularly in reducing the recipient's need to work during the school year. The donor's desire is that the award will enable the recipient to devote more time for career-enhancing activities in addition to maintaining a successful academic performance. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


SANDY SHELTON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $210 will be awarded to a student in the College of Human Development and Education who is a Family and Consumer Sciences Education major for use during the senior year. Preference will be given (in descending order) to a graduate of West Fargo high school, North Dakota high school, a married student with dependents, a single parent. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


GARDA KYLLO SIVERSEN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $440 will be awarded to a student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education who is majoring in an area of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


STEELE COUNTY HOME ECONOMICS ASSOCIATION

MAIL IN APPLICATION ONLY:  One scholarship of $350 will be awarded to any individual majoring in an area of Apparel, Design and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences education. Students must have completed at least two years of study in their major and be a resident of Steele County, Minnesota, including the towns of Owatonna (55060), Blooming Prairie (55917), Ellendale (56026), and Medford (55049). the scholarship is presented in honor of Jessie and Jean Partridge. STUTSMAN COUNTY HOMEMAKERS COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP

MAIL IN APPLICATION ONLY:  One scholarship of $150 will be awarded to a junior or senior majoring in an area of Apparel, Design and Hospitality Management, Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Preference will be given to a previous Stutsman County resident. ANNA J. THORFINNSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $250 will be awarded to an undergraduate student in the College of Human Development and Education who is majoring in an area of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Applicant must be an active member of Phi Upsilon Omicron, if appropriate, or have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher. Applicant must also demonstrate financial need. Preference will given to a Family and Consumer Sciences major. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.

 


MABELL WHELAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Two scholarships of $575 will be awarded to students enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education majoring in an area of Apparel, Design, and Hospitality Management; Human Development and Family Science; Dietetics; or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Recipients must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration.


RUTH LAVON NYE WILLIAMS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Three scholarships of $500 will be awarded to students enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education who are majoring in Family and Consumer Science. Recipients must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement and must attend the Honor's Day celebration. 

 


Procedures for successful submission of applications:

 

Review the scholarship listing which you will find on this page and choose a scholarship you would like to apply for and follow these instructions.

1. Download the PDF application(s) from this website and save this PDF application on your hard drive;
2. Open the PDF application using Adobe Reader, version 8 or newer (you may not use "Preview" on a MAC to fill this form). If you do not have this available to you, Adobe Reader may be downloaded free at this link: http://www.adobe.com/
3. Add your data to the PDF application at your convenience and save the PDF on your hard drive;
4. Copy the PDF on your hard drive so that you have a back-up;
5. Log in to this Web site: https://apps.ndsu.edu/pdfupload/ using the log in name and password that you use when logging in to Blackboard
6. Select the receiving department (HDE);
7. Select the form from the drop down list of available forms for the receiving department that you selected; and
8. Upload the copy of the PDF application to this Web site. Once your PDF is uploaded, you can click the "Click here for a receipt" button to ensure that the form has been received. Your application is not complete until you upload it to this web site. You may print a copy of the PDF application for your records, but you may not print the application and hand it in or mail it to the college.

Student academic records will be checked to verify that the recipient is enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education at the time of disbursement and is meeting all remaining requirements. It is the student's responsibility to submit scholarship applications.
