SHIRLEY STOKKE ANDERSON DIETETICS SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $1000 will be awarded to a student majoring in Dietetics. Applicants must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher, exhibit leadership qualities and show professional promise. Financial need is considered when other qualifications are equal. The recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at the time of award disbursement.

SUSAN J. CROCKETT SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $1000 will be awarded to a student majoring in Dietetics with an emphasis in traditional dietetics (didactic program). Selection criteria: Scholarship, leadership, professional promise, and involvement in campus activities. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement.

 RUTH DAWSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

One award of $270 will be awarded to a College of Human Development and Education student majoring in Dietetics and with financial need. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement.

DIETETICS ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP

Two scholarships of $1500 will be awarded to students majoring in Dietetics. Selection criteria: Show academic excellence, scholarship and financial need. Recipients must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement.

ETs' FITNESS SCHOLARSHIP

Two scholarships of $400 will be awarded to sophomore or junior students (at time of disbursement) majoring in Exercise Science. This scholarship, set up by Dr. Donna Terbizan in memory of her parents, is in recognition of academic excellence in the field of exercise science. Selection criteria: scholarship, leadership and professionalism. Recipients must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement.

FOOD AND NUTRITION DIETETICS SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $540 will be awarded to a student majoring in Dietetics. The student must be a senior taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at the time of award disbursement and have an cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher in professional courses as well as in basic science courses.

ROGER AND NANCY GRESS FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $500 will be awarded to a student enrolled in the College of Human Development and Education. Preference given to Human Development and Family Science/Elementary Education or Dietetics majors. Applicants must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or greater, participate in an NDSU student organization or community event or organization and be a sophomore or junior taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement.

ERV AND MARGARET KAISER FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

Two scholarships of $500 will be awarded to students in Physical Education or Sport and Recreation Studies. This award from E.E. Kaiser is in recognition of outstanding service to their profession. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA average of 3.0 or better. Selection is also based on membership in physical education association(s) and/or comparable activities. Recipients must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at the time of disbursement.

ARLENE KALK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $230 will be awarded to an outstanding physical education major or minor in recognition of their character, leadership and contribution to the profession. Selection criteria: must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, financial need, and active in physical education association(s) or comparable activities. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement.

One scholarship of $390 will be awarded to a College of Human Development and Education student majoring in Dietetics. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement.

MIDWEST DAIRY COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $1000 will be awarded to a junior, non-graduating senior, or graduate student majoring in Dietetics, Family and Consumer Sciences Education or Education. Selection criteria: a minimum 2.75 GPA and leadership potential. Must plan to attend NDSU during the 2013-2014 academic year.

NORTH DAKOTA ACADEMY OF NUTRITION AND DIETETICS SCHOLARSHIP

(MAIL IN APPLICATION ONLY): One $500 scholarship awarded to a full-time student in their junior year of an accredited dietetics program with a minimum GPA of 3.0, be a member of the the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics with North Dakota as their chosen affiliate. NORTH DAKOTA NUTRITION COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP

(MAIL IN APPLICATION ONLY): One $500 scholarship will be awarded to a student from NDSU or UND who majors in a nutrition-related field. The scholarship recipient will also receive free registration to the NDNC spring conference. Students who will be sophomore, junior or non-graduating senior majoring in (Dietetics, Community Nutrition, Family and Consumer Sciences Education, etc.) Be a member of North Dakota Nutrition Council, and have a GPA greater that 3.0. Two scholarships of $490 will be awarded to students majoring in Dietetics, taking a minimum of 12 graded credits, and of sophomore or junior status at the time of award disbursement.

One scholarship of $240 will be awarded to a sophomore, junior or senior majoring in Physical Education with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and financial aid. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement.

FRANCES SWENSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Four scholarships of $575 will be awarded to students majoring in Dietetics. The recipients must be in Dietetics taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at time of award disbursement, a North Dakota resident, have a high academic profile and financial need.

ERNIE AND JO ERICKSON WHEELER SCHOLARSHIP

One scholarship of $430 will be awarded to a student with a cumulative 2.5 GPA or higher and financial need. Preference is given to a student majoring in Exercise Science or Dietetics. Recipient must be taking a minimum of 12 credits at time of award disbursement.

WILKIN COUNTY CROP IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

(MAIL IN APPLICATION ONLY): The Wilkin County Crop Improvement Association is sponsoring one $500 scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year.  The applicant must be a resident of Wilkin County and pursuing a college degree in an agriculture-related field including engineering, food and nutrition, nursing, human services, and accounting. Other criteria are detailed on the application forms.  Applications are to be completed and returned to the Wilkin County Extension Office by Friday, April 20.  Mail this application form to: Wilkin county Extension Office, 505 8th Street South, Breckenridge MN  56520-0199

Review the scholarship listing which you will find on this page and choose a scholarship you would like to apply for and follow these instructions.

1. Download the PDF application(s) from this website and save this PDF application on your hard drive;
2. Open the PDF application using Adobe Reader, version 8 or newer (you may not use "Preview" on a MAC to fill this form). If you do not have this available to you, Adobe Reader may be downloaded free at this link: http://www.adobe.com/
