Internship Form for Public History Majors

REMEMBER:

You must register in advance for internship credits

 

To be completed before the end of the semester prior to starting the internship and signed by the Public History Program Director.  The student will retain the form and complete it at the end of his/her internship and turn copies in to his/her faculty advisor and the Public History Program Director.

9 credit hours of internship are required to graduate.  Each credit requires 48 hours worked, including time spent filling out journals and writing activity summaries.

The student must maintain a daily journal of his/her internship activities, projects, and responsibilities.  This must be turned in to the Public History Program Director who should initial and date to signify completion. __________

 

The student must produce a 4-6 page double-spaced, typed summary of activities and projects completed, responsibilities, and skills learned during his/her internship.  This must be turned in to the Public History Program Director who should initial and date to signify completion. __________
