Department Restaurant
The 800 Cafe' is located on the third floor (FLC 312) of the Family Life Center and is open for lunch during the spring semester.
Students start training in the food production and service lab during fall semester of their junior year, and advance to Foodservice Systems management the following spring. The students essentially operate their own restaurant for an entire semester, serving food with china and linen. The food production and service lab also serving as a test kitchen for recipe improvement and analysis of Nutrition Facts panels.
The 800 Cafe', is open February 21- April 26, 2013 for lunch, Thursday's and Friday's. Meals are $8.00 each, beverage included. To reserve your table, contact Ronda.Klubben@ndsu.edu. Walk-ins and takeout are also available on a first come first served basis. Cash and checks are accepted.
