Reading the Leave Information on your Pay Advice
Field | What it Means |

Start Balance | Balance as of January 1st each year. Example: On the first check dated 1/14/2005, the information listed was your 1/1/2004 balance. On your 1/31/2005 paycheck your balance as of 1/1/2005 appeared. |
Earned | What you earned for the year. This will be a running total for the year. |
Taken | What you have taken for the year. This will be a running total for the year. |
Adjustments | If any adjustments have to be made, they will appear here. |
End Balance | Your current balance as of today or the pay period date. |
Use before 12/31 | What the system determines is required to use before December 31st to avoid forfeiting any hours. |
