Dr. Jing Shi is an Assistant Professor of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering at North Dakota State University (NDSU). He received his PhD in industrial engineering from Purdue University in 2004, and in the same year he joined NDSU. His current research interests include healthcare engineering, healthcare information system, renewable energy system modeling, nano/micro manufacturing, numerical simulation of manufacturing processes, and RFID/wireless sensor network. He has published more than 20 refereed journals and 15 refereed conference proceeding papers. Dr. Shi is a member of IIE, ASME, and IEEE.
