Dr. Jing Shi is an Associate Professor of Industrial & Manufacturing
Engineering at North Dakota State University (NDSU). He received his PhD
in industrial engineering from Purdue University in 2004, and in the
same year he joined NDSU. His current research interests include
healthcare operation improvement, renewable energy system modeling,
advanced materials and manufacturing processes, and RFID/wireless sensor
network. He has published 55 refereed journals and more than 40 refereed
conference proceeding papers. Dr. Shi is a member of IIE, ASME, IEEE,
and Sigma Xi.
