A student must meet the current Industrial Engineering and Management (IE&M) curriculum or Manufacturing Engineering (MfgE) curriculum requirements in place at the time that he/she joins the program. However, for reasons including a need to observe new accreditation requirements and a credit change in a course offering, a certain program change may be applied to students accepted under a curriculum of a previous version.
A student must also meet the University General Education requirements unless he/she provides proof of having fulfilled the general education program consisting of a minimum of 36 credits from an accredited institution.
The General Education requirements are outlined in the University Registration Schedule. A student who fulfills the IE&M or MfgE curriculum requirements would automatically meet Categories 1-3 and 9-12 of the Gen. Ed. requirements. For Categories 4-8, the following check lists can be used (the term Category and CODE correspond to the Gen. Ed. requirements printed in the University Registration Schedule):
Categories 4,5,7,8
