This weblog carries news, announcements, and guidance for students in Prof. Isern's sections of HIST 103 offered via NDSU Distance & Continuing Education.
This is the last week of the course. You can still assess lecture 15 and hand in three soft point assignments this month, and post over lecture 15s reading assignment. As per the calender, make up quizzes will be offered from the 11th to the13th of December. I will link up the quizzes about 10am on the 11th and they will come down the morning of the 14th. I would not wait until the morning of the 14th to take them (I am in a time zone that is two hours earlier than most of you, so I start working on the course about 9am Fargo time). All remaining assignments (again per the calender) are due by noon on the 8th of December. I do not accept late assignments. You should get two course evaluations. One will come from Distance and Continuing Education, one from myself. The one I email out is optional and worth 10 bonus points. The only catch is that you have to answer every question and follow all directions. Say whatever you want, it won't effect your grade as we use it for updates and re-tooling the course to better suit students. Its a good opportunity for many to bump their scores up by a letter grade (most people are always on the cusp of a better score). There will be specific instructions for you to follow when I send it out (you need to follow them or you wont get the 10 bonus points) which will be on the 11th of December shortly after the quiz links come up.
Thanks for a great semester!
