I'm just posting two questions. These are the two that will be on the final. Discuss them with Mr. Smith in the review session.

1. Based on the content and explanations you have heard throughout the term, and on the distinction made by Tocqueville, answer this question: Is the instructor of this course a democratic historian or an aristocratic historian?

2. Of all the ideas you encountered in your readings of Tocqueville, which one did you find most intriguing and useful? Show how it enlightens material covered in the course.
