We are at the one-third point of the semester. As a reminder, you must earn at least half of your soft points by October 22 to earn the 10 bonus points available.

Folks, we had a storm here, and a tree limb decided to deprive me of internet access. I will be checking my e-mail at remote locations for a couple of days, so if I don't get back to you as quickly as normal, that is why. I can not upload Quiz 5 until I get my home internet back up and running...hopefully by tomorrow, but it may be Wednesday. You will have plenty of time to take the quiz. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Ok folks! We are progressing nicely with GAP discussions, and quizzes. We need to get to work on soft-points assignments and assessments though. Assessments should be suggestions on improving the lectures and can take the form of comments, questions, compliments, or gripes. Those of you who are still working on Quiz 1, don't panic. I leave Quiz 1 up for a few extra days because of the delays in getting material to everyone. I will try to have all future quizzes up by Tuesday of the week it is due.
