HIST 104DCE News

Welcome to all those enrolled for HIST 104DCE, offered via Distance & Continuing Education. Look around the website so you know what's going on. Important: your instructor this semester is Mr. Bill Cummings, email cummings@plainsfolk.com. If you are enrolled, send Mr. Cummings an email right away telling him your postal mailing address. We need to mail you the lecture CDs for the course; you can't get started on the course until you have given us a mailing address. Once again, welcome - I hope the course serves you well.

OK, class, it's December! We have one week left to get the soft-points assignments done, and we will finish shortly after that. I have published quiz 15 at http://www.plainsfolk.com/webquiz/quizzes/104quiz15.asp so you can finish with the quizzes.

According to the grading guide, you will complete a final assessment following the December 7 deadline for other work. I will send, by e-mail, specific questions for the final assessment, so do not try to do that without the questions. The final assessment does provide you with bonus points, often enough to raise your grade!

Because too many of you have waited to the last minute to send work, It will take me a bit longer to get through it all. This is one of 7 classes I teach, I am working on two post-graduate courses, and I will be in Atlanta at the end of next week judging the Georgia "We The People" state finals. I will do my best to get everything graded as quickly as possible, and answer any urgent question. You should have been keeping track of your own scores, so requests for that infomation may or may not get answered, as time allows.
