Texts
There are to be three required texts for the course--Lipset, Beal, and a third one to be announced. The first two should be here on time to begin the course. As for the third, my choice went out of print before we could get it in, and so I'm making a substitution. If it's not here for the beginning of term, no biggie, as it's the third of the three texts in order of study.

Under Construction
The website for HIST 382 is under construction, or rather reconstruction. All major pieces will be in place in time for beginning of spring term. If you have questions before then, feel free to e-mail me here: isern@plainsfolk.com
Beginning the Blog
The Club Car is a weblog for HIST 382: Canada. Here we post announcements and carry on discussions pertaining to the course. At the beginning only I can post to the blog. As soon as I gather the e-mail addresses of class members, I'll make it possible for all to post. In the meantime, where are you going in Canada? How long do you intend to remain? Are you carrying any tobacco products or firearms? Enjoy your stay in Canada!
