Biography
|
I am a communications masters
graduate student at North
Dakota State University, just finishing my
thesis. I look forward to participating in this course. I have a strong
interest in Midwest history, being that I was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. My husband was raised
in Western North Dakota. We raised our children in southeastern North Dakota. My
grandfather was a leader in the northern Manitoba, Canada Hudson Bay
Company fur trade business beginning in 1900 when he came to Winnipeg and married
my grandmother. Both were born and educated in Britain. My grandparents raised
and schooled their children in Northern Manitoba
and traveled by dog sled periodically to the cities for medical needs.
