Biography

My name is Crystal Ridl.  I currently teach at Discovery Middle School in Fargo where I teach 8th grade English.  I am working on my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  The reason I am taking this course is because when I did my undergrad degree I received a double major in English and Social Science Education.  A year later No Child Left Behind went into effect leaving my Social Science degree pretty much void at the high school level.  To become highly qualified in history, I need six more credits.  I figured while I am doing my master's degree, I may as well work on that as well.  I also love history and am looking forward to a chance to be back in a class again that talks about something other than teaching practices.  Beyond that, I am also expecting a very busy semester.  I am taking eight credits, teaching, and expecting my first child at the end of February.
