This is the classic liberal-arts degree. Somewhat more prestigious than the BS, the BA prepares you for graduate or professional school. It also might be pursued along with a minor or second major that is more career-oriented, such as Business. This is a sound and respected degree.

The BA requires two years of a foreign language. That's 14 credit hours (4 + 4 + 3 + 3). Consult with your adviser about which language will go best with your studies and interests.
The BA doesn't require a minor, but you should complete one anyway. Minor requirements are set in the department offering the minor. Consult with your adviser about which minor will go best with your studies and interests.
Complete your general education requirements, which include both university-wide and college requirements. My page on general education summarizes these for you.
It takes 122 credit hours and a cumulative GPA of 2.0 to graduate. And don't forget the upper-division requirement: at least 37 of your credit hours have to be upper-division (300- or 400-level).
