Distribution Requirements in History
As you do your upper-division (300- and 400-level) course work, make sure that you meet the distribution requirements. These requirements are designed to ensure some breadth of knowledge. Most of our upper-division courses are sorted into three categories: US, European, and Widening Horizons. You need to take at least 6 credit hours in two of the categories and at least 3 in the third category.
