Congratulations Also

To Amanda Wisch, who completed her bachelor's in History this spring and promptly landed a graduate assistantship in the Museum Studies program at Baylor University. She'll do well, I reckon.

While I'm on the subject, I'll extend the congrats to Andy Gress, another of our grads, with whom I've had the pleasure of working on some historic preservation matters. He's off now to the dual degree program in History and Library & Information Science at the Univversity of Wisconsin-Madison.

Congratulations

Congratulations and all best wishes to Joan Beckman and Matt Larson. Their marriage in Jamestown on 6 August was a grand affair; friends and family of bride and groom filled the church and then the reception hall; brass players from NDSU provided music for the ceremony. Matt, bachelor's in History from NDSU in hand, is on to grad school at the U of M, as is Joan. Here they are at the recetion.
