Senior Seminar Presentations

Closing out the semester, students in the Senior Seminar in History gave public presentations of their papers at Bonanzaville (Cass County Historical Society), West Fargo, May 7, and at the Barnes County Historical Museum, Valley City, May 10. They presented wonderfully to appreciative audiences--more than fifty people turning out in each case to hear the papers. Thanks to all those who came, and especially to Gwen at Bonanzaville and Wes at Barnes County for the thoughtful arrangements. Here, too, are a few images from presentation night in Valley City.

Kirk Thomson, Becky Boone, and Kathy Elijah relax between presentations (no nerves)
The cuckoo clock at upper right offered punctuation for Kathy's main points
Cody Geiser, like other presenters, had opportunity to talk with the people of Barnes County about the history he had written
Phil Zubrod's family came over from Valley City baccalaureate services in time to hear his paper
