The Spielmeister @ Bonanzaville

On December 2 the Cass County Historical Society has its "Christmas Memories on the Praire" extravaganza at Bonanzaville. On hand, in character as literary and political activist Henry Martinson, was none other than Matt Spielman. Matt says he's enjoying his volunteer work at Bonanzaville. Ask him about it when you see him.

Spring 2007

As many of you know, I haven't been in the classroom during fall term 2006. I've been around, most of the time, and I've kept up my online offerings, but I took a break from the classroom to get some other work done--including writing new courses and retooling old ones. In spring I'll offer the following courses on campus:

HIST 104 U.S. Since 1877
HIST 382 Canada
HIST 489 Senior Seminar

I'm only now beginning to post revisions in these courses to the web, but I'll be cranked up and ready by beginning of the semester. Looking forward to it.
