I'm on sabbatical for fall term, meaning I won't be meeting any classes on campus and will be trying to minimize meetings and that sort of thing. I have a scary-long list of projects to complete during this time, mostly writing. For most of the term I'll be remaining here at NDSU, or somewhere near. Late in the term will come a lecture and research trip to New Zealand and Australia. If you're an advisee of mine and need my help, let me know; I'll attend to what needs doing; but if you don't need me, cut me a little slack, so I can work my way through the list. The Department of History, Philosophy, & Religious Studies has made the move from Minard Hall to Putnam Hall. Mail addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers remain the same. My new faculty office is Putnam 20. It has (drum roll) . . . wait for it . . . WINDOWS! Personally, I think the Putnam complex will serve the department well while the Minard rehab is going on. The official word is we'll be in Putnam for two years, so I figure three.
