David Mills
PhD Student in History, North Dakota State University
Dave Mills received a BS in History from Frostburg State University in Maryland in 1987. While serving in the armed forces in Germany, he earned an MS degree in Business Management, completing those studies in 1994. In 1995 he had the opportunity to attend the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, where he earned 45 credit hours in French. Returning to his love of History, he received an MA in that field from Minnesota State University-Mankato in 2004. Dave is now pursuing a PhD at North Dakota State University, where he began studies during the summer of 2005. His dissertation topic will focus on the Cold War on the Great Plains.
