Academic Credentials for Graduate Students
To be considered for admission to the Graduate School, applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree from an educational institution of recognized standing before beginning graduate studies. However, applications will be accepted and processed in advance of graduation when the amount of undergraduate work remaining to be completed is not more than two quarters or one semester. The grades earned in the undergraduate work must be equivalent to a B average. Official transcripts of all previous undergraduate and graduate course work must be submitted with the application.
Graduate applicants proposing to major in certain fields must also submit Graduate Record Examination (GRE) test scores. The GRE General Test contains sections that measure verbal, quantitative, and analytical abilities necessary to be successful in post-secondary studies. More detailed information about the GRE is available at: http://www.gre.org. To find out if the program you are applying to requires a GRE test score, please click on the program of your choice to view the graduate application requirements.
