Student Support Services

 

In addition to the services offered by the Office of International Programs, there are several counseling and specialized professional services available to students enrolled at North Dakota State University. Some of these services are listed below:

ACE (ACADEMIC cOLLEGIATE eNHANCEMENT

Academic Collegiate Enhancement (ACE) is a free academic support program available to all enrolled undergraduate students. Whether you would like help with homework, tips on studying for an exam, or strategies for taking notes, ACE can help you achieve your academic goals. ACE tutors are also able to help you develop a personal learning plan to make the most of your time, provide study tips, or help you find the right resources, both on-campus and off!

Career Center

The Career Center is a comprehensive resource center that assists students with their job searches and connects them with employers. The center works with Cooperative Education, a program that offers career-related, paid work experiences for academic credit. The center also offers job search development advising such as resume writing and interview techniques.

The Center for Writers offers free, one-on-one tutoring to all members of the NDSU community and assists  undergraduate and graduate students improve their strategies for writing proficiently and independently. 

Counseling and Disability Services

The services of professional staff are available free of charge to assist with educational, vocational, and personal concerns.

Student Health Service

The Student Health Service is a primary health care facility offering integrated professional services to NDSU students with a physician and staff located at the Wellness Center. Medical laboratory and pharmacy services also are available.

Wallman Wellness Center

The Wellness Center promotes and devlops healthy lifestyle opportunities for students through wellness education, quality student health services and state-of-the-art fitness programs.
