Academic calendar: Classes in English follow U.S. academic calendar. Italian academic calendar runs October-February;

Joint English & Italian Language Program - available to NDSU exchange students


Services offered: "Welcome Day" orientation sessions are offered for all international students at the start of each semester; A housing service is offered to exchange students studying in Milan by the International Relations Office at Sacro Cuore. Housing prices range from approximately $300 - $600 monthly. Here are some helpful things to think about when looking for housing in Milan.

Italian Language and Culture Course

An Italian Language and Culture Course is offered for exchange students who want to learn Italian as beginners or for those who wish to expand their current knowledge of the language. This course is offered separately from regular curricular activities and is available as both an Intensive program (before the semester begins) and a Semester program. Students can take one of these or both. Credit is earned for these courses and levels offered include: Complete Beginners, Lower Intermediate, Upper Intermediate (Advanced is also offered during the Semester). Contact your study abroad advisor to find out the estimated fees for this course.
