information
The Ansal Institute of Technology (AIT) is a growing technical school that offers classes in science, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering and business administration.
AIT recently signed a twinning agreement with NDSU. AIT students complete the first three years of their degree in India and travel to Fargo to finish their degrees here. To read more about the NDSU-AIT Collaboration, click here. The coursework in India is closely modelled after classes at NDSU, which means that when you study abroad at AIT, you know you will be following the NDSU curriculum in your major. Click here for transfer equivalencies for AIT and NDSU.
As a student at AIT, you'll take classes alongside local students pursuing a degree in your major. Student organizations at AIT are quite active, and you will have plenty of opportunity to get involved. On the weekends, it's easy to hop a bus to the amazing capital city of New Delhi, where ancient meets modern in a fascinating mix. Bargain for silk in a local bazaar, try curry as it was meant to taste, catch a Bollywood double feature, or check out the Taj Mahal. AIT is a short distance from the international airport (Indira Ghandi International), which makes it easy to visit nearby Nepal (think Mt. Everest), Bhutan, and even China.

Gurgaon is a district of Haryana,
one of India's most prosperous states. Its proximity to the
capital city of New Delhi has helped to make it one of India's
fastest growing industrial cities. Major multinationals such
as Microsoft, Honda, John Deere and GE have a presence in
Gurgaon and are helping the district become known as a center
for information technology growth and development.
"There is a region called Haryana which is like a heaven on earth" - Vikrami Samwat, 1385
