Available Equipment in Instrumented Classrooms

The following items are available for use in all of the instrumented classrooms on campus (with some exceptions**):

  • Ceiling Mounted LCD Projector
  • PC Computer (with monitor)
    • CD/DVD Drive (you can play DVD movies)
    • USB Port (on front of computer and left side of the monitor, for use with Flash Drives)
  • Document Camera (for projecting overhead transparencies and documents)
  • Wireless RF mouse
  • Standard Mouse and Keyboard
  • Speakers
  • Laptop Access (for using your own laptop with the projector)
  • AV Control System (for easily switching between the devices)

** The following is a list of differences in standard equipment for classrooms:

  • The Library classrooms can be combined or separated by moving the divider walls.  When the walls are taken down Library 14B becomes the master teaching station for the combined rooms.  When the rooms are separated the teaching station in each room retakes control of the room.
  • The following rooms have two projectors that have the ability to display the same image or separate (i.e. computer on one screen and document camera on the other) images at the same time.

  • Stevens 204 and Walster 315 only have a projector installed.
  • The following computer clusters only have an LCD projector connected to the computer at the front of the room..
