Multimedia Cart Location and Access Information

Currently there are two methods for securing the carts: the GM50 key and cardkey access. Click on the specific key to find more information about it.

If you need a key, or cardkey access, please contact your department key controller. ITS is not able to issue you a key.

Please remember to reserve the cart before you use it; otherwise you may be taking it away from a colleague that did reserve it.

*indicates a cart that can not be reserved. These carts have been placed permanently in the room indicated above.

GM50 - This key is a NDSU building key with the code "GM50" and your EMPLID stamped onto it. It is a universal key that unlocks all multimedia carts except those noted above.

Cardkey - This access is added to your NDSU ID card and is used to open the door to the computer lab (C&IE 108A and 203) where the multimedia carts are stored. The GM50 key is also needed in these locations to unlock a paddlock that secures the cart in the computer lab.
