NDSU Email

NDSU partners with Microsoft to provide email service for students, faculty and staff. The current email system is Microsoft Office 365.

NDSU employee/student email merge

NDSU employee and student email accounts have been merged into one NDSU-managed Microsoft Office 365 email and calendar system.

Access your email account

To access NDSU email, you can set up a mail client such as Outlook on your computer, configure an Exchange account on your mobile device, or access your email on-the-go using webmail.

Log in to NDSU email

  • Students, log in using your NDSU electronic ID (typically firstname.lastname)
  • Employees, log in using your NDSU electronic ID (typically firstname.lastname)

After the student/employee email merge, which begins on July 18, you will use the password associated with your NDSU electronic ID (also used to access Blackboard, CMS and cluster computers) to log in to email.

Your NDSU email address is an official communication channel used by instructors, colleges, departments and administrative offices to send you important messages.
