1. Click on the Start menu and click Control Panel
2. Open Printers and click Add a Printer
3. Click Add a Local Printer and click Create a New Port
4. Choose Standard TCP/IP Port and then click Next
5. Set the Device Type to TCP/IP Device
6. In the Hostname or IP address field, type goprint.ndsu.nodak.edu
7. In the Port Name field, type in the Port Name for the printer (see the Printer Locations and Port Names table, below)
8. Uncheck Query the printer and automatically select the driver and then click Next
9. If additional port information is required, choose Standard and Generic Network Card
10. Choose the printer driver as listed in the Printer Locations and Port Names table below. If your printer model is not listed, go to hp.com and download the driver for that model, and then click Next
11. In the Printer name field, give the printer a name, ex. IACC Room 150 B&W, and then click Next
12. Click Finish, do NOT print a test page
13. In the Control Panel, Right Click on the printer and choose Properties
14. In the Ports tab, select the Printer and click Configure Port
15. Check LPR and LPR Byte Counting Enabled
16. Type in the Port Name of the printer (see the Printer Locations and Port Names table, below)
17. Click OK, and then click Close
18. You should now be ready to print

In order to efficiently locate your print job on a GoPrint station, you should first identify the name of your personal computer:

1. On your personal computer, click Start
2. Click Computer
3. In the open space, right click and select Properties
