Configure Mozilla Thunderbird
- Launch Thunderbird after installation
- Enter Your Name and email address

- Click Continue
- Thunderbird will attempt to connect to the account, click Stop
- Enter the following settings:

- Click Manual Setup...
- Select your account (email address)
- Select Server Settings
- Select Normal password next to Authentication method:

- Select Outgoing Servers (SMTP)
- Click Add

- Next to Server Name: enter smtp.ndsu.nodak.edu
- Enter 587 next to Port
- Select STARTTLS next to Connection security:
- Select Normal Password next to Authentication method:
- Enter your Electronic ID next to User Name:

- Click OK
- Click OK
- Select the account
- You will be prompted to enter your password if you opted for Thunderbird to not remember your password in Step 2.
