Setting up Outlook 2011 (Macintosh) for NDSU Outlook

1. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=923 and click Download

2. After the application finishes downloading, it will appear in your downloaded items list. Double click on Microsoft Online Services

3. Click on Microsoft Online Services and drag it into the Applications folder

4. From the desktop, open the hard drive and click on Applications

5. Find Microsoft Online Services and double click on it

6. Click Open when the warning box appears

7. Microsoft Online Services Sign In Tool will appear on your screen. Enter the following

Username: Your @ndsu.edu email address

Password: Your NDSU Outlook password

NOTE: If you do not know your password or are configuring your account for the first time, please contact the IT Help Desk at 701-231-8685 option 1 for assistance.

8. On the next screen make sure that Microsoft Outlook is the only application selected. Then click Configure Applications

9. When the keychain access box appears, click Always Allow

Allow several minutes for Outlook to synchronize all of your items from your email account to your computer
