Wireless Locations
Wireless access is available at most public locations on campus, including residence halls.

Wireless access is also available at two outdoor "green spaces" on campus:
- The Babbling Brook - north of the South Engineering building
- Dakota Plaza - next to the Geosciences building, just west of the Family Life Center
A secure log-in account is required to access NDSU's wireless network. Formal visitors to NDSU (e.g., visiting scholars, conference attendees) may request guest access through the IT Help Desk.
Wireless Networks
There are currently four wireless networks on the NDSU campus. Each has their own specific use and functionality.

NDSU Instructions This network is used to set up a device to access the NDSU secure network. It does not provide access to any other Internet sites. |

NDSU Secure This is the main wireless network on campus. This network is secured using a certificate that you install on your device. This network is fully functional and provides full access to the Internet. |

NDSU Limited This wireless network provides guest access to the Internet. This network uses a less secure connection and is also limited in terms of allowed Internet access. Eduroam
Education Roaming is a global internet access service that provides you with immediate wireless Internet access when visiting educational institutions that are part of the Eduroam network. Campus guests also have access to the NDSU wireless network if their home institution is a participating member of Eduroam.
| To enable a wireless device to connect to the Eduroam network, NDSU users should download a new version of the NDSU Secure wireless certificate. (If you downloaded an NDSU wireless certificate after May 1, 2012, you have the newest version and can already access the Eduroam network). To download a new wireless certificate:
