You need to switch to secure wireless
All devices that connect to NDSU's wireless network must now use the new "certificate-based" method to connect. Non-secure connections are currently being deactivated. Please switch to secure wireless now.
If you are currently using the SecureW2 software to connect, you do not need to switch unless you are experiencing difficulties connecting. [If you do switch to certificate-based security, be sure to uninstall the SecureW2 software from your system FIRST.] Call the ITS Help Desk at 231-8685 (option #1) if you need assistance.
Below is the link to install certificate-based security. During this process, you will see instructions for installing certificate-based security for the follow operating systems:
- Windows XP
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7
- Mac OS X
- Linux (instructions are provided, but we are currently unable to provide support for this service)
- IPod/IPhone
To set up the new certificate-based security on your laptop or wireless device:
- Log in to http://enroll.nodak.edu
- Click on: Get Secure Wireless
- Click on: Get My Certificate
- Follow the onscreen instructions:
- The onscreen instructions will appear for the operating system of the device you are using to access the site. If you need instructions for a different operating system click the "Wrong OS" link and choose the correct one
