The NDSU employee email upgrade to Office 365 will begin at 6 p.m. today and will last until 6 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 24.
Microsoft will move individual accounts throughout the weekend, and all accounts will be moved by 6 a.m. Monday. During the upgrade, NDSU employees may experience brief email and calendar service interruptions as individual accounts are moved to Office 365.
Important instructions for after your account has moved are available at www.ndsu.edu/its/365-migration
- Set up your email and calendar for Outlook or other software
- Connect your mobile device to your email and calendar
- Download and install Lync, which will replace Communicator
- Reschedule Office Live meetings
You will also have the option to access your email and calendar after your account has moved using a Web browser at https://portal.microsoftonline.com.
If you encounter problems connecting to your account from Outlook or other email software, the Web portal is your best option for gaining immediate access to your email and calendar.
