Published: 28 June 2013

Upgrades for NDSU's Blackboard learning management system and NDSU Live student email accounts are scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Friday, June 28.

NDSU faculty, staff and students will be unable to access Blackboard during the Blackboard system upgrade, which is scheduled to be completed by noon Saturday, June 29. If the process goes smoothly, Blackboard may become available as early as late Friday night.

Microsoft will begin upgrading individual NDSU Live email accounts to Office 365 at 5 p.m. Friday. This upgrade is anticipated to be complete by the end of the day Sunday, June 30. The email upgrade will affect all NDSU students, along with employees, alumni and other individuals who have NDSU student email accounts. (Any person who enrolls in a class for credit at NDSU is automatically provisioned a student email account.) Persons with a student email account may briefly lose access to their account while it is being upgraded.
