ITS has redesigned its Web site with the goals of making information easier to find for our users and giving a consistent look and feel to all IT-related Web sites managed by ITS.
A cornerstone of this project was the implementation of a new Web technology called a content management system. The content management system allows information to be updated quickly and consistently across the Web site and helps eliminate broken links and poor search results. The content management system also separates content from design so that either the information or the site design may be updated independently without negative effects.
Some new features of this site include a centralized location for FAQs, help documents, and instructions as well as a central repository for IT policies. On the home page, we've added a place for a Q&A with ITS called AskIT. Got an IT question? Just click the AskIT image!
