New "NDSU Live" e-mail now available to students
Published: 02 September 2010 11:02 AM

NDSU is partnering with the N. D. University System to provide students with new e-mail accounts, and a suite of online productivity and communication programs.

Existing @ndsu.edu e-mail accounts will continue to be an official communication channel between the university and students. However, students now also have NDSU-branded Windows Live accounts, which the IT Division is referring to as NDSU Live.

NDSU Live e-mail addresses have the same username (typically firstname.lastname) that students currently use, but end with @my.ndsu.edu.

The new @my.ndus.edu accounts also provide students with 25 gigabytes of online file storage, a Web-based version of Microsoft Office and a variety of social networking tools.

Students who prefer not to use two e-mail accounts can set their NDSU Live e-mail accounts to "pull" in e-mail from their @ndsu.edu accounts. This will allow students to manage their e-mail within one account.

NDSU Live accounts have now been created and are ready for student use. Information on activating your account is available at:

Additional information on NDSU Live is available at:

Please e-mail NDSU.HelpDesk@ndsu.edu or call 231-8685 (option 1) if you have questions.
