Help Desk Student Workforce Coordinator
Hours/week: 20 during the semester, possible 40 during the summer
Starting wage: $8.00/hour
Reports to: NDSU/ITS Help Desk Student Managers
The Help Desk Student Work Force Coordinator will be assisting the Help Desk Management team with creating and managing Help Desk student employee work schedule, managing time off requests and schedule changes. Responsibilities will also include: receiving, tracking, and monitoring the training materials, required forms, and employee information for all Help Desk student employees. Help Desk student management will work closely with the Help Desk Student Work Force Coordinator to coordinate the completion of Help Desk goals or tasks. The Help Desk Student Work Force Coordinator must be self motivated and able to perform their job duties in a self sufficient manner. Excellent written and oral communication skills will be required, as well as good interpersonal skills.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Create and manage Help Desk student employee schedule
- Manage Help Desk student employee time off requests
- Receive / Track / Monitor Help Desk employee training materials and required forms
- Maintain current employee information
- Coordinate the completion of Help Desk goals
- Perform other duties as directed or assigned by help desk management
Minimum qualifications for employment:
- Ability to perform job duties in a self sufficient manner
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Current NDSU enrolled student
Preferred qualifications for employment:
- Work force/human resources experience
- Management-related or other appropriate academic courses or training
- Customer service experience
- Computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
