Online Communication: Live Meeting and Office Communicator
NDSU now has two different, but related online communication tools available as part of the BPOS (NDSU Outlook) system - learn how to use these powerful tools effectively!
Office Communicator is an ‘instant messaging’ type of program that is another feature of our BPOS system. (NDSU Outlook). Communicator makes it easy to use text messaging or face to face communication with your colleagues.
Live Meeting is yet another feature of NDSU Outlook that gives you the power to participate in meetings with colleagues or constituents, at a moment's notice — no matter where you or they are.
Both of these tools have similar ways of operating. In this two hour session we’ll lead and participate in instant messaging, chatting, and Live Meeting events.
(Headset/microphones will be provided. You may bring your own if you wish.)
Prerequisites: No previous experience required.
