Do you have to create a publication, perhaps a newsletter, brochure, or some type of booklet? This module will explain three software options--Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Word, and Adobe InDesign--and provide links to learning resources.
- Because of the large number and wide variety of templates available, MS Publisher is probably your best choice if you don't have a lot of time and want something easy to use.
- MS Word is another good choice, with many templates available.
- Adobe InDesign is a professional desktop publishing program. Although InDesign offers you the most control over your layout, it has a fairly high learning curve.
MS Publisher 2010, MS Word 2010, and Adobe InDesign CS5 are available on the campus public cluster computers and on the computers in the TLMC lab (IACC 150C).
