Face it - there just isn't a 100% reliable way to prevent students from cheating in online assessments! However, you can have some 'tricks up your sleeve' that may help. During this 50 minute session we'll take a look at several ways you can use Blackboard, Respondus LockDown Browser, and SafeAssign to minimize the risk of cheating in online tests and assignments. Respondus LockDown Browser is installed on all campus computer cluster machines. Students and instructors can also download and install the most current version of LockDown Browser on their own computers at no cost. When the instructor activates LockDown Browser for a test, students MUST use Respondus LockDown Browser to take the test - they cannot begin the test using any other browser!
