Researchers in veterinary and microbiological sciences are studying environmental exposures and the effect that the exposures may have on preexisting asthma. Scott Asbach, a molecular pathogenesis graduate student, is part of a multidisciplinary team of NDSU scientists and students that uses a model of mold-induced asthma to assess the risks that agricultural exposures present for workers and identify potential remedies.
