Clean Snowmobile Challenge
Clean Snowmobile Challenge (CSC) is also a collegiate design competition organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers. Student members are challenged to reengineer an existing snowmobile to reduce emissions and noise. NDSU is nationally recognized for the utilization of a turbocharged three cylinder diesel engine in its clean snowmobiles. This concept started in 2011 and NDSU continues to improve on this package.
