The Recreation Center, located in the basement of the
Memorial Union, now boasts eight new bowling lanes
with automatic scoring, eight new pool tables, two
table tennis platforms, one foosball table, an air hockey
machine, and a Wii machine with Madden 2009,
Punch-Out!!, and Dance Dance Revolution. The R&O
Center has daily specials every week during the school
year to fill your spare time.
The Outing Center is located in the basement of the
Memorial Union. You can fill your free time with a
variety of camping, canoeing, kayaking, disc golf,
croquet, and horseshoe equipment; along with winter
activities equipment for rental. There are also trips
and other activities planned throughout the year
through the MU Breaks program. Examples include
slacklining, Wii tournaments, along with table tennis
and 9-ball tournaments. Trips include Gooseberry
Falls, the Science Museum of Minnesota, the Minnesota
Zoo, and the ever popular Mall of America trip.
