The Outing Center
The Recreation & Outing Center, located in the basement of the Memorial Union, has undergone a large renovation
project in the past two years. You can fill your free time with a variety of camping, canoeing, kayaking,
disc golf, croquet, and horseshoe equipment; along with winter activities equipment for rental. There are also trips
and other activities planned throughout the year through the MU Breaks program. Examples include slacklining, Wii
tournaments, along with table tennis and 9-ball tournaments. Trips include Gooseberry Falls, the Science Museum
of Minnesota, the Minnesota Zoo, and the ever popular Mall of America trip.
Recreation Center Semester Hours
Monday-Friday - 10:00am-11:00pm
Saturday & Sunday - 1:00pm-11:00pm
Recreation Center Summer/Holiday Hours
Monday-Friday - 12:00pm-4:00pm
Saturday & Sunday - Closed
