The Rec Center
Welcome to the Recreation & Outing Center. The Recreation & Outing Center, located in the basement of the Memorial Union, now boasts eight new bowling lanes with automatic scoring, eight new pool tables, two table tennis platforms, one 16-foot shuffleboard table, foosball table, an air hockey machine, and a Wii. The R&O Center has daily specials every week during the school year to fill your spare time. If you have an idea how to make the R&O even better, or if you have an idea for an outdoor adventure or an MU Break, please visit with one of our courteous staff members. We will try to make your ideas happen. After all, this is YOUR Recreation & Outing Center. Enjoy!!!

Weekly Events During School Year
Monday
Monday Night Bowling League
This league is open to all NDSU students, staff, and faculty. The teams will consist of 2-4 member teams competing for cash prizes. The league will be played at 6:30 p.m. on Mondays beginning February 25 and ending Dead Week. Cost is $50 per team. Participants will be competing for cash prizes with a 90% payout. Participants must register in the Recreation & Outing Center. Registration ends February 20.
Tuesday
Tuesday Night Billiards League
The NDSU 9-Ball Billiards League has been our most popular league for years and has proven to be the jumping off point for many participants who want to play in a national collegiate tournament each summer. This league is open to all NDSU students, staff, and faculty and will be played at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning March 5 and ending Dead Week. Cost is $20 per individual. Participants will be competing for cash prizes with a 90% payout. Participants must register in the Recreation & Outing Center. Registration ends February 26.
Wednesday
Strike Out Hunger
Bring (2) non-perishable food items per person and get (1) free hour of bowling. Food items will be donated to a local non-for-profit organization. Sponsored in collaboration with the Memorial Union Volunteer Network. Time: 7:00pm - 11:00pm.
Thursday
Red Pin Bowling
Come out and join the most popular activity of the week. The bowling begins at 7pm and will go to 11pm. If you get a strike when any of the corner pins are a red pin then you win a 20 oz. soda. Drawings will be held for DVDs, Red Pin T-shirts.
Time: 7:00pm - 11:00pm
Cost: $5/person

Bison Pride Friday
Have Bison Pride? If you’re sporting any Bison clothing, come on down to the Recreation & Outing Center and enjoy discounts on bowling and billiards.
MU Live - 9:30pm-1am
Saturday & Sunday
Weekend Madness - 1pm - 11pm

Area Reservation Policies:
1. Payment is due in full at the event unless it is an NDSU Dept. or a pre-approved AR charge authorized at the end of the reservation.
2. The renter is responsible for damages incurred to equipment during the area reservation.
3. Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance.
4. A fee for reserving tables/lanes but not using them still will be charged. Package prices are final.
5. Area reservations are for the sole enjoyment of the group reserving the space. The Center will remain open to the public except when all lanes and tables have been reserved. Closing the Center requires special authorization.
6. Food and beverage consumed by groups in the Center must be purchased from NDSU Dining Services or Catering.
7. Additional charges apply to time and services not specified above.
