



New Faces to be added to the Tapestry of Diverse Talents:
Eunsu Lee and Mary Sinner will be inducted into the Tapestry of Diverse Talents at noon on Friday, December 11, in the Memorial Union Century Theater. Please join us for the induction ceremony as we honor these individuals and begin a new Tapestry. A reception will follow the ceremony.

The Tapestry of Diverse Talents, a program of the NDSU Memorial Union, recognizes students, faculty, staff and alumni for the diversity and contributions they bring to North Dakota State University. Each semester individuals are added to the Tapestry, reflecting the ages, classes, ability, ethnicity, gender, races, regional differences, sexual orientations, beliefs and values of the University community. The Tapestry kindles the spirit to diversify diversity.

The Tapestry of Diverse Talents was first developed through the Institute for the Study of Cultural Diversity, 1992-1997, under the direction of Dr. Robert S. Littlefield.
Tapestry Induction
Each semester,
Tapestry of Diverse Talents Induction Ceremonies are held at 12
p.m. on the last day of classes, in the Memorial Union. This
year, the induction ceremony is noon,
Friday Dec. 11 at the Century Theatre. Reception to follow in the
Butte Lounge, adjacent to the Century Theater.

Nomination Procedures for Tapestry of Diverse Talents
- All nomination materials must be received by 5 PM on Friday,
Oct. 30, 2009.
Each semester, nominations are
solicited for individuals deserving of Induction into the
Tapestry Program. To nominate someone, download and complete the
nomination form
and two letters of recommendation (at least one letter must be
written by an NDSU student) and submit to the Selection
Committee, c/o Student Activities Office, 120 Memorial
Union.
The Selection Committee will review all submissions
and determine those to be honored each semester.
