Harambee Retreat-June 7-9th, 2013
Harambee: International Student Leadership Retreat! June 7-9th, 2013.
Welcome International and Domestic Students! NDSU’s Memorial Union and the Office of International Programs invites you to a special weekend leadership retreat just for you! Imagine meeting other international students from around the world, sharing stories, learning about different cultures, and learning how to develop yourself as a leader!
During the International Student Leadership Retreat, you will learn about cultural differences in leadership, how to develop your confidence as a leader, how to communicate more effectively in front of groups, and of course learn about the customs and values of other cultures.
The retreat will be held at a beautiful retreat center in Alexandria Minnesota. NDSU will provide for all your transportation, meals, and a nice warm bed! That’s right, this retreat is free! The Retreat Center features a beautiful atmosphere nestled next to a large lake. Visit www.lakegenevacamp.com/ to find out more about the retreat center.
